Ultimate War: iPad Battles with Android Tablets on Battery Life

Obviously tablet battery life is the important consideration index in terms of performance and user experience whatever quad-core tablets or Retina tablets they are. Recently, British media “Which?” tested the most popular 7- and 10-inch tablets to compare battery life. Let have a look at how iPad beats other Android tablets.

The test method is to compare the battery life for browsing the web over Wi-Fi until the battery runs out. The iPad with Retina display (the iPad 4) took first place in the 10-inch tests, ahead of Apple’s official standard 10 hours of battery life, up to 13.5 hours (811 minutes). Sony Xperia S’9 hours battery life occupied the first place among the Android tablets, and Win8 Tablet Surface RT has more than eight hours battery life, also higher than the average nine hours.

In the 7-inch tests, the iPad Mini ranked first in nearly 13 hours of battery life (783 minutes) results. Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7 ranked second and third, reaching about 9.5 hours.

It is no doubt that the iPad comes out on top in terms of performance and battery life.
